Stephen, Jr.  6 May 1764- 11 October 1841

Both father & son served in the Revolutionary War.

​

Stephen, Sr. was active in the battles of New York and was at Valley Forge when Cornwallis surrendered.

​

Stephen, Jr. enlisted at age 14 & served as a drummer boy before his father sent him home.

​

The family came to Hudson in 1801.

Stephen, Sr, who was a devout Deacon insisted on travel stopping on Sundays for religious services.
