rev. caleb pitkin

Slightly to the southwest of the entrance, somewhat behind a chain link enclosure, we see the stone for Rev. Caleb Pitkin.

 

Pitkin was a founding father to what would become Western Reserve College (now Western Reserve Academy.)

The Reverend was elected to serve as president of the trustees in 1826.
